Seeing the brilliant support the school has been providing to her own child, Yuliya joined Passmores Academy's Local Governing Body in 2020 as a Parent Governor. She then moved into the Co-Vice Chair role and currently serves as the Co-Chair. Her ambition is to give back to the local community by helping the school ensure that each Passmores student is supported in the best way to achieve their full potential.  

Yuliya's professional career has largely focused on commodities markets. Her aim is to use her expertise in building strategic partnerships and leadership skills to help the school maintain and further enhance the inclusive culture, strong ethos and community focus.

In her spare time, Yuliya enjoys spending time with her children, playing the violin and travelling. By investing her time as Co-Chair of the Governing Body, she aims to help the school provide a positive and enjoyable learning experience to every child.
